Was part of The DST group in which was tasked with developing the necessary tools to deploy downhole in an oil/gas well to investigate the limits and viability of the well for future investment. In hole we design build and test downhole tools.

As a drafter I was in charge of making any necessary documents along with supporting documents and drawings. This included organizing the documents and adhering to the departments drawing standards as well as industry standards, ASME Y14.

Tools that I used, were PRO-E Creo version. Also used JDE Edwards (Windchill), and AutoCad V14.

DRAFTER/DESIGNER

Provide engineering support for the manufacturing of deep sea equipment, which includes producing and modifying drawings utilizing PRO-E a (3-D) software, and AutoCad V14

Duties include updating and populating parts library using JDE EDWARDS software and using I-LINK with PRO-E.

PRODUCTION ENGINEER/DESIGNER

Produce all drawings necessary for the manufacturing of PDC and IMPREG drill bits Including Mold Assemblies, Braze Assemblies, Bit Blank details, Nozzle modification details, and all other drawings need in the manufacturing process utilizing Pro-E Wildfire and Cadkey.

Design various parts necessary for the production of PDC and IMPREG drill bits using Pro-E Wildfire.

Create all Bill of Materials for the manufacturing of all drill bits utilizing Oracle and Agile.

Grinder- Break out bit crown heads from molds, grind, sand blast. Finish bit with painting.

Manual Lathe operator- Cut steel stock for blanks prepare for milling.

Loader/Cooker- Assemble molds and load with powders for cooking. Operate furnaces for bit cooking.
