Interned at the Schneider National Operating Center in Dallas, TX. Responsibilities included tracking the driver’s DOT hours of service, ensuring that drivers updated correct and logical ETAs to their destinations, confirming & dispatching loads to drivers, organizing the correct Bills of Lading to ensure that the drivers are delivering the correct loads to the correct locations, customer service responsibilities, and tracking of assets to ensure that all assets were being utilized correctly and efficiently. Learned vital problem solving skills, how to handle random problems that occur with drivers on the road, and how to effectively manage a large group of drivers.
