SENIOR DIRECTOR, HUMAN RESOUCES -Redondo Beach, Ca 2012- Present (Human Resources & Training Consulting)

Provide recruitment, training, human resources consulting services. Clients include a small apparel company, manufacturing company, restaurant chain, a large bank processing firm, a mortgage conglomerate, a major hospital, an event management company and a major fitness organization.

Presently managing Operations, Human Resources and an Intern program for a small business organization providing Engineer Services to the Dept. of Defense, Homeland Security and L.A. Air Force Base. to ensure that all proposals are written in compliance with federal standards and programs are designed, created & administrated under budget.

Established and managed the Los Angeles Human Resources function for a $100-million-dollar global healthcare organization on a long-term engagement. Involved in all aspects of the HR function, in particular employee relation issues resulting in resolving several complaints.

Participated as a member of the executive team doing succession planning following the merger of two companies with the goal of identifying successors to senior positions and creating customized development plans.

Successfully negotiated five legal complaint settlements with no monetary expense to the company.

Directed integration of two benefit programs and key initiatives with a cost savings of 35%.

Successfully implemented a major change in the flexible spending account program with the approval of the Department of Labor resulting in close to $100,000 cost savings.

Successfully consolidated and integrated the human resources aspects of six separate companies in 15 states with a total of 700 employees.

Acted as the chief negotiator on all Teamster union contract renewals achieving a 10% cost savings related to all health care and pension benefits, running the campaign and successfully achieving the de-certification of one unionized facility.

Directed the consolidation of five 401k plans and 12 employee benefit plans into a single benefits package for all employees while reducing costs by $150,000.
