Planted Grace Point Community Church in 2004 with a beginning of only five non-Christian ladies.
Implemented all aspects of beginning a new church: strategic planning, teaching, video, sound, small group discipleship, counseling, marriages and funeral care. Gave leadership to beginning a music team and children's ministry. Developed original mission statement and method of discipleship process.
Conducted multiple new and unique outreach methods which brought positive exposure on television and newspapers. Result: growth from 4 people to 140 attendance.
Helped begin and led county wide annual church service, Thanksgiving meal and Christmas programs in coordination with 7 participating churches resulting in a greater positive witness for all churches in the area. Volunteer chaplain in local hospital and mayor's task force for crisis intervention.

These past thirteen years here in Belvidere IL have been a blessing from God. Our greatest joy has been helping many come to know Christ, grow closer to Him and show His love all around. Even through the
housing market crash of 2007, economic downturn in 2008 and shutdown of the local Chrysler plant in 2009, God’s goodness has been an anchor in the storms of life. Believing that God has plans beyond what we can see, we now wait to discover where He will lead. I believe the time has come and we will serve Him where ever that may be!
