Financial Clerk/Office Staff: Primary responsibility was to maintain school budget, receive and deposit all funds, create purchase orders, order supplies for departments/staff, report sales tax. Generate reports for Principal, department chairs and district offices from district database (MUNIS). This position allows opportunity to work with District Approved and Contracted Vendors, KISD Financial Services, Print Shop and Tech Support. High volume of cash handling was primary function. Other duties as assigned are to assist with technology issues by submitting help desk tickets and maintenance concerns by submitting work orders. Assistant Principal Secretary: First two years Assistant Principal’s secretary. General duties to maintain office activity. Monitor incoming calls; route as necessary. Create and maintain schedules, student files, and staff files. Communicate with parents, students and staff on behalf of the Assistant Principal. Facilitate events and special activities. In charge of ordering supplies for office.
Opportunity Awareness Center/Raines HS/BTP (8/2007-8/2012) Attendance Clerk/Office Staff: Primary responsibility was to maintain all attendance records for OAC, daily and yearly audit boxes. This position is very detailed oriented and data driven. Communication with parents/guardians, students, campuses’ administrators and ESC departments a must. Generate and supply administration with PEIMS reports from district database (ZANGLE). Secondary responsibilities include, but not limited to, receptionist duties, facilitator for maintenance requests for all three schools, monitor TECH Support submissions. Hays Consolidated ISD Sept. 22, 2005 – May 25, 2007 Kyle, TX. Substitute Teacher/Paraprofessional: Substitute for teachers, paraprofessionals and administration staff when needed. Experience included grades pre-k to 12th, SPED – life skills, physical education, front office, secretary and fine arts dept. Responsibilities working as a registrar /receptionist required answering phones, filing, copying, faxing and some computer work. Front office required social skills to meet and greet visitors to school.
