BRIEF DESCRIPTION ON 3 OPERATOR STATIONS:
ALUM/POLYMER:
* Assigned to be the one computing and dosing the optimum amount of coagulant (mostly aluminum sulfate) and flocculants (polymer i.e, non-ionic, cationic like polydadmac) to achieve the desired turbidity of potable drinking water
* Monitor and inspect the rapid mixers, flocculators and the amount of chemicals used in every shift
FILTER:
* Assigned to be the one conducting backwashing of the filter units, monitoring loss of head on each filter units and assist the shift officer on maintaining the volume of raw water entering the treatment plant
* Assigned to be the one who operate and monitor the Gen-Set (2 caterpillar units, 2-phase)
