Became the first CFO of this club and had additional management responsibility over Information Technology. Saved the club $150K in sales tax audit, conducted first fixed asset audit to write off over $4 million in assets to save thousands in property taxes, implemented controls and process improvements for golf department, instituted a comprehensive PC replacement program, improved financial reporting package, reduced monthly closing period by 1 week, automated and improved various manual processes regarding inventory controls, and made continuous improvement a sought after goal. 2006 – 2007

Company was sold to a private equity company 19 months after inception and all dept heads replaced/terminated

Directed the financial, accounting, budgeting, treasury mgmt, and tax functions of a startup Medicare HCC risk management auditing and medical coding company for Medicare Advantage Plans across the country. Additional responsibilities included a monthly financial write-up and chart presentations to the board of directors, risk management, contract review proofing and advice, and other operational / administrative improvements.

Developed a sophisticated 36 month interactive and integrated cash flow / financial model that also forecasts month by month balance sheets and income statements utilized to justify and support the sale price of the company (included multi-variable and multi-scenarios)

Brought the company’s entire multi-state tax, financial, and accounting duties in-house in 1 month

Developed processes that supported a startup company that grew from $10 million to $50 million in revenue and from 40 to 140 employees in 1 year

Designed and led improvements in Operations and operational reporting including developing and instituting the company’s first comprehensive production scheduling spreadsheets to forecast and anticipate production and scheduling bottlenecks and problems from inputs to IT to Production to QC to final product (i.e. across departments)
