Rotary Clinic-2014-2015 Volunteer at a free healthcare clinic that opens twice a month. I serve as the translator between doctors and patients. I am knowledgeable in medical terminology both in English and Spanish. I get to shadow physicians, as well as medical students, and am exposed to the clinical setting. As a regular volunteer, I had the chance to take vitals, chart the patient's visit, and help with the overall organization of patient appointments, while abiding by HIPAA rules. Putting an End to Cystic Fibrosis Walk/Run April 28 2014 Annual walk held by the Double T Health Professions Honor Society to benefit Cystic Fibrosis research. Walk is organized fully by this local honor society and its members.
