Resume:

Dear Human Resources Manager;

I am writing concerning a licensed practical nurse position with your organization. I have a particular interest in working for your company and would appreciate being considered as a candidate for employment.

Currently I am unemployed, recently laid off from Chatham County jail in July due to the expired contract with the jail as a unit nurse. I am currently 36 1/2 weeks pregnant. I am familiar with correctly administering medications, assessing for side effects, safety checks, precautions, therapeutic communication, etc. I also am self aware of time management and setting priorities to manage on average of 250 inmates. I worked there for 4 years and had almost perfect attendance with no disciplinary write ups.

I have 4 years experience as a licensed practical nurse on an adult acute psychiatric ward. I have a practical nurse license in Georgia but license in Virginia has expired. My strengths are my people skills and attention to detail. I am hard working and dependable with a variety of skills and common sense.

Enclosed is my resume. I hope it will be helpful in evaluating my qualifications for employment. Please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience to arrange for an interview. I look forward to meeting with you to discuss your requirements for this employment opportunity.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Victoria Neisler (previously known as Victoria Allen or Victoria Seward)
