Duties, Responsibilities and Roles as a Marketing Manager:
Instill a marketing led ethos and system throughout the business and organization
Research and report on external opportunities and understand current and potential customers;
Manage the customer journey (customer relationship management);
Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors;
Manage marketing mix (5Ps) and conduct market research;
Identify target markets and develop marketing strategies and activities to communicate and do business with them;
Do comparative and competitive analyses with competitors’ products and services;
Evaluate the financial aspects of product and service development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services, working on advertising and promotion;
Identify and formulate measures to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty and evaluate customer service and experience;
Direct the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of marketing and sales staff and oversee their daily activities;
Negotiate contracts with vendors and distributors to manage product distribution, establishing distribution networks and developing distribution strategies;
Prepare, plan and manage internal and external publication and communications of all publicity material to maximize brand promotion; and
Attend business events and activities (i.e. Monthly meeting of Davao Chamber of Commerce) for prospecting and continuous linkages with the business world and relevant industry.
Duties, Responsibilities and Roles as an Administrator:
work on committees including managing and administrative boards, governing bodies and task groups;
assist with recruitment and instituted public and/or alumni relations and marketing activities;
assist in screening, testing, interviewing and selecting employee applications;
provide administrative support to the management council (Senior Management, Middle-Level Managers, and junior management employees);
draft and interpret regulations and deal with queries and complaints procedures from clients, employees and other stakeholders;
maintain high levels of quality assurance, including demonstration evaluation, professional evaluation of employees, curriculum content and system evaluation, and other approval procedures;
use information systems and prepare reports and statistics for internal and external use;
contribute to policy and planning, including school’s strategic and evaluation planning;
manage budgets and ensure financial systems are followed;
check requests, purchase goods and equipment and process invoices;
supervise other administrative and auxiliary staff, and liaise with other administrative staff, colleagues, and clienteles;
communicate with partner institutions, other institutions, external agencies, government departments and prospective clients;
attend and actively participate in seminars, trainings and meetings with the national, local and barangay-level government agencies, and non-government education organizations;
organize and facilitate a variety of training, educational, social and team-building activities in and off-site that are timely and relevant to all stakeholders; and
conduct and facilitate meetings, seminars, trainings and workshops to clients, employees, and administrative and auxiliary staff;
