One of the Hennessy Principles started J.E. Charlotte Construction Corporation and asked that I continue my current job responsibilities with his newly formed corporation.

2002 to 2007 Project Superintendent – Hennessy Construction Services (St. Petersburg / Sarasota)

Responsible for the oversight and supervision of various commercial construction projects throughout the area of operation. These projects included several bank and medical/dental projects, industrial projects, a golf course community sales complex and a 60,000 square feet office-manufacturing complex. Many of these projects were managed simultaneously.

2000 to 2002 Job Superintendent – Lodge Construction (Ft. Myers)

Responsibilities included complete job oversight from initial project bid phase up to and including the project closing phase. Projects completed during this tenure included a county fire station, a little league complex and a public beach pavilion complex.

Supervised the construction aspects related to the marketing and construction of energy efficient home sites (Foam Homes) in Land-O-Lakes, FL. Served as the Project Superintendent over an upscale condominium project on the island of Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands.

1993 to 1996 Partner - Associated Architects and Contractors INC.

Formed an operational partnership with Halsema Associates and Architects. Specialized in custom home and light commercial construction projects. Also completed a low income multi-housing project for the City of Palmetto.

1990 to 1992 Director – Statewide Laundry Equipment

Duties included the design, construction and renovation of various Laundromat facilities throughout the state of Florida.

1976 to 1990 Owner – Harding Construction INC.

Based out of Tampa, FL and responsible for all aspects of design and construction of: custom homes; residential renovations and additions; retail, medical and office construction and renovations.

1970 to 1976 Forman and Assistant Superintendent – Tampa Carpenters Union

Completed the apprenticeship training program and was assigned as the Assistant Superintendent on various commercial and industrial projects. These projects included a hospital, a public school and a sewage disposal complex.
