DUTIES/RESPONSIBILIES:

Developing, managing and controlling scheduling concerning the project from inception to completion and making sure that the pre-set time is not unreasonably exceeded.

Compiling, collating and filling all relevant documentation for the project progressively.

Conducting job acceptance with contractor/supplier as stipulated by TVL management.

Managing cost of the project from conception to closing stage with proper planning, structuring, estimating and budgeting to make sure that the pre-estimated cost of the project in not exceeded.

Managing, coordinating and controlling end to end the communication concerning the project among the entire stakeholders.

Managing all the risks associated with the project from inception to completion, and mitigates it where necessary so that, the project goal will be achieved.

Devising a road map concerning project quality management system from inception to completion in accordance to best practice and conformity with TVL specification and standard.

Managing all the stakeholders relating to the project from the conceptual to actualisation period and making sure the interest of all these stakeholders are well protected.

Managing the scope of the project by proper definition, developments of work break down structure, mitigating scope creep and document any changes that may occur as the project progresses.

Following up the progress of work on site (Tower) from technical site survey to final acceptance stage.

Ensuring the contractor/supplier keep to specification and standard specified for the work.

Acting as TVL liaising officer/ ambassador to all the stakeholders involved in the project deliverables.

Preparing weekly and monthly report to the management promptly and regularly for decision making.

Ensuring the evaluation of work is been carried out progressively and recommend for contractor/suppliers payment when necessary.

Managing the deployment of GPON and P2P fibre from inception to completion.

Planning, coordinating, supervising, controlling and monitoring all aspect of fibre Project from inception to completion.

Project Management

Detail Actions:

Lead the development and periodic review of LCS Telecoms Nigeria strategy

Manage the overall development and implementation of projects in fulfilment of LCS Telecoms Nigeria strategy and in accordance with Client specifications and standards.

Lead in ensuring effective planning, monitoring and reporting for LCS Telecoms Nigeria project and activities

Provide technical expertise to projects staff as relevant and/or assist in ensuring that the correct technical expertise is available to staff Client Management

Maintain good relationships and regular contacts with the clients (Airtel Nigeria and Huawei Technology).

Ensure effective management of any formal partnerships between LCS Telecoms and government, civil society and international partners.

Remain updated on the overall Telecom Industry in Nigeria in order to be able to identify appropriate entry points for LCS Telecoms work.

Represent LCS Telecoms in high-level meetings and ensure effective representation in external coordination that LCS Telecoms is involved in.

Managing key customers relationship and actively developing new business opportunities in Nigeria.

Human Resources Management

Detail Actions:

Provide line management to the country team including project, operations and finance staff

Monitor and support the performance of staff on the basis of LCS Telecoms performance management system.

Manage and coordinate with HR manager on all staff matters. Admin and Finance Management

Detail Actions:

Ensure compliance of the office with local legislation, LCS Telecoms policies and procedures.

Ensure all accounting and finance functions are complied with by all staff and partners, working with Finance Manager.

Ensure submission of timely, accurate monthly financial reports to HQ (Kenya), working with the Finance Manager.

Manage the Nigeria budget on a monthly basis to ensure optimum expenditure of funds

Undertaking timely and accurate annual budgeting and forecasting. Commercial Management

Manage all aspect of commercial activities in the country.

Monitoring and controlling all the bidding process in the country in conjunction with commercial team.
