WORK HISTORY

2014-Present Final Operations Manager/Lead Production Scheduler – Eaton Corporation

Currently the final operations manager for the fuel, motion, and controls group for the Jackson production site. Overseeing a team of hourly and salaried personnel which prepares hydraulic motors, pumps, and spare parts for final delivery to the customer. Total shipments average anywhere from $16-$21 million each month for OEM units, repairs, and parts with on time delivery being a primary focus. Previously, as the master scheduler for the aftermarket segment of the fuel & motion control systems division which averages over $3 million in sales monthly servicing both commercial and military customers. Scheduling over 60 technicians serving in two cells and utilizing 50 test stands across 3 shifts to meet the monthly objectives in my department. Lead a cross functional project team in “Turn Around Time” and “On Time Delivery” performance to our customers, which has gone from 71% in 2014 to over 95% in 2015.

2013-2014 Production Control Buyer – MTEK Inc.

Oversaw 8-10 suppliers to provide key materials for the production of tier 1 automotive interior components, primarily injection molded and pressed parts. Worked in conjunction with offsite warehousing to coordinate on time delivery of materials to the production facility. Was able to reduce on hand inventory by 25% within the first 2 months without any loss of production time. Led improvement activity for the facilities top defect and scrap related cost component – headliner assemblies, in which defects were reduced by 18% the first month.

2004-2013 Area Manager/Section Manager – Nissan North America

An integral part of driving improvements in safety, quality, cost, and delivery in the Chassis Department of the Truck System as a supervisor and special projects manager. Supervised as many as 4 zones – at times operating 2 zones simultaneously managing well over 50 technicians at a time. Personally trained leaders to become Area Managers, and overseen special projects for the Chassis Department, Paint Mutilation Prevention Team, productivity improvements & Long Wheelbase Truck Program.
