My daily duties start with assigning operators to their daily presses. Second I hold a pre shift meeting going over safety issues, quality issues if any has arose from the day before and any information that is needed for that day. Third I walk the production floor making sure operators have all needed equipment they need, as I am doing this I also look for any safety issues that need fixed immediately. As I am still walking around I make sure the operators are following their ODS for the job they are running that day. I have to make sure every part being ran meets or exceeds our customer requirements. When ever a mild change or color change is complete I must assure our first piece approval process is followed, in doing this we make sure the parts meet are exceed customers requirements as well.

2012 - 2013 3rd Shift Lead Supervisor

My duties were to make sure all product was up and running on time to ensure we made our shipments on time so not to impact our customers. I was also point of contact if any customer had any issues that night ( ex. Needed parts produced that were not on the schedule, parts escaped that were not in good quality standings).

2001 - 2007 Set up Tech

My duties were to pull and set tools in presses ranging from 150 to 3500 tons. In doing this I had to do this under 30 minutes Shot to shot. This assured the least amount of down time on a press. After the mold was set and the program was set I started the press up. If any tuning was needed On the parts I would process on the press until the parts matched or exceeded our customers expectations.

My duties were to run 2 to 4 presses each night. I had to pull the run sort the parts from the Spurs for each machine. I then had to measure one shit to ensure they were in spec for that hour, if they checked good I then sorted the parts to ensure they matched or exceeded our customers expectations. I then had to grind the runners from that hour, get material if needed for the press then clean up the area. I worked my way up to isle leader which consisted of making sure parts were ran in time to ensure shipments being made. I also made sure mold changes and color changes were done as fast and as safely to ensure in time shipments.
