Supplier Management
o Build relationships with suppliers and provide support with contractual, logistical, and operational requirements
o Schedule Development, Negotiations and Maintenance o Meet with suppliers on monthly basis to review production on-site to gauge production stages to plan, outside processing issues and sub-tier vendors delivery schedules o Maintain continual communications with suppliers in developing relationships and achieving short term and long term goals
o Ensure proper part marking, COC’s and other documentation is delivered with the parts o Work with internal Finance organization and CFO (as required) to ensure prompt payment to the supplier
Risk Mitigation
o Identify potential risk and create mitigation plans to ensure delivery requirements are met o As issues are identified develop options between supplier, company, and customer o Manage risk mitigation plans and selected approach to ensure customer needs are supported on a daily basis
o Assess potential risk to deliveries and impacts to acceptance
i.e.: Engineering Changes, Part Number roles, CLINS affected by MRB, Government evaluations for production safety protocols and counterfeit parts, DCMA inspections, and other general changes that may have affected the procurement processes.
Subcontracts Management & Administration
o Work with Suppliers to ensure compliance and provide technical and administrative support of USG requested information and Company requirements
FAR flow downs and special Terms & Conditions
TINA compliant proposals (i.e. educate suppliers in the development of COPD)
RGTS and DCMA Acceptance Requirements (Procurement of specified orders in accordance with certified contractors material requirements for internal, external and Government Source Inspections, COCs, User manuals, etc.)
DCAA: Cost and price negotiation and analysis
o Provide support to suppliers in responding to RGTS and customer reporting requirements
Ensure negotiated delivery schedule changes are capture and added back to the subcontract
o Identify issues with purchase orders/subcontracts and manage changes as required
Technical Liaison for all supplier issues on an operational, contractual, and legal level to support the program, protect the company and the customer
