Web Programming Jan. – May. 2016
Developed several full-stack (both front-end and back-end) web projects – Online Toy Store, Content Manage System, and Photo Gallery – based on LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack.
Built AJAX projects – Library Retrieval, Top Names Search – based on jQuery AJAX, PHP and MySQL. These AJAX projects make an AJAX call using JQuery and fetch target XML file (or make a request for target PHP file on the server) and display the contents of the XML file (or retrieved database results) on the html pages in a table.
Programed two Ruby on Rails projects – Movie Reviews, Library Application – based on Ruby on Rails framework. These two projects include all the CRUD (Create, Read, Update and Delete) operations for manipulating movies in the system
(or books in the library), styling in the template files, posting and deleting movie reviews.
Implemented a simple RESTful web service by using PHP. This web service would provide retrieval information about Books in JSON format.
