Working Experience:

1. Presently I am working in Sahara & Ma’aden Petrochemical Company Jubail city in Saudi Arabia as Plant Operator in (EDC) Ethylene Di Chloride & Chlorine section (Process). A new established Ethylene Di Chloride, Caustic/Chlorine plant (membrane cell technology) Capacity of 768.8 TPD based on Uhde Germany Technology. I join this organization from 20st December 2011 to till date.

Active participation as lead during Erection & Commissioning of (768.8 TPD Uhde Germany Technology) Membrane cell Caustic Soda Plant. Current activity: P&ID,PFD, DCS Graphics,loop& Complex loop & field Correction through SOR, Walk through, Tightness test, leak test, complex loop test function test, mechanical run test(MRT&RFI), PSSR,HOZAP & SOP preparation.

Responsibility as Field Operator:

Identify any problems potential or ongoing and seek remedies as applicable, communication with panel operator & shift supervisor continuously & follow all instruction.

Task field readings on regular interval & record operating parameters.

Report any observed abnormalities to panel operator& shift supervisor (leakage & abnormal sound on time).

Perform regular sampling as per the established procedure & schedule.

Prepare process equipments, vessels line etc, prior to start up, shutdown or for any maintenance activity, as per standard operating procedure (SOP) or shift supervisor instructions.

Performs relevant housekeeping in his designated area of job.

Signs work permit after checking all the required preparation has been met by the permit receiver. Ensure proper/safe housekeeping after completion of any maintenance job keeping work area clean, tidy and safe to work.

Logs operating incidents occurring during shift for records & for counterpart on the next shift, and discusses incidents with his supervisor.

Closely coordinate with shift supervisor & panel operator in start up, shut down & any routine activity and emergencies.

Monitor the running equipments troubleshoots process abnormalities.

Watch & feel running equipments.

Handover /takeover charge to reliever.

Sound knowledge of Chlor-Alkali & Plants Process Engineering.

Performs immediate response activities assigned by Immediate Response Leader.

2. Worked in Gujarat fluorochemicals Ltd Dahej chemical complex Bharuch Gujarat India as Senior Engineer (Operation) at Capacity of 375 TPD chloro alkali plant (membrane cell technology) supplied by AKCC Japan. Handling various operation like Brine Purification system, Electrolysis, stripping, CL2 Drying, liquefaction, CL2 Cane pump, refrigeration chlorine liquid chlorine pumping, CL2 Vaporization,Hydrogen treatment & bottling Evaporation by double effect plate type evaporator, refrigeration chlorine & H2 treatment compression,Chlorine Vaporizer & ensured smooth operation of plant & DCS(Yokogava Centum 3000) to maintain productivity & profitability, from march 2006 to 17 December 2011.

Responsibility as Senior Engineer:

Run the plant smoothly in shift.

Monitor & maintain process parameters from both side i.e. From DCS Control room as well from the field side.

Reporting to the Gen. Manager & Executive Director for various activities.

Control & minimize the chemical consumption norms & Manpower.

Preparation of production report &stock checking on daily basis, which includes co-ordination with dispatch, stores dept, etc.

Planning of startup, short-term & long term shut down of the plant.

Follow up maintenance job during shift.

Industrial safety includes prompt action at any emergency break down of unit.

Maintain the quality of products with proper co-ordination from quality control laboratory.

3. Worked in Indian Rayon & Industries Ltd, Veraval Gujarat India. A blue chip Company of Aditya Birla group. A new established Caustic/Chlorine plant of 325 TPD based on UDHE GERMANY Technology. I joined this Company from 2nd July 1996 to March 2006.

Responsibility as Junior Engineer:

Responsible for smooth running and maintain continuous process parameters of Brine purification, HCl Synthesis unit, Waste Air dechlorination unit & Effluent Treatment plant.

Brine purification by clarification, filtration (Anthracite, candle and coal Bed Type) and Hydrogen gas processing by cooling, filtration & storage in gas holder to supply for HCl Synthesis unit.

HCl Synthesis by burning of hydrogen with chlorine followed by absorption with water.

Nitrogen generation by pressure swing absorption unit. Cooling and storage.

Smooth functioning of waste air dechlorinitation unit (Bleach lye unit).

Responsible for handling storage & dispatch of 32%NaOH, 48%NaOH, 78% Spent acid, process water pump house and fire fighting pumps.

Supervision of critical equipments changeover/troubleshooting and shutdown maintenance jobs.

4. Worked in Gujarat Ambuja Cement Ltd. Kodinar Gujarat India. Plant capacity is 500 TPD dry Process cement plant as Patroller. I join this organization from 3rd November1995 to Jun 1996.

Responsibility as Patroller:

Responsible for raw material handling. Troubleshooting of continuous process like belt conveyor, hopper systems, ball mills etc. Supervision /Distribution of man power.

Industrial Training:

A.) 04 months Training in Shriram Rayon Ltd. (DCM Group) Kota Rajasthan India.

B.) 06 months Training in J.k.Synthesis ltd. Kota Rajasthan India.
