Responsibilities:

Inspection of pattern & casting as per drawing & Quality standards and maintain records.

Inspection of casting parts at suppliers for fulfills the recruitments of clients.

Vendor’s co-ordination for mating quality specification & customer’s satisfaction.

Monitoring In-process inspection of products.

Preparations/ process implementation for ISO certification.

In short, Supplier up gradation, Failure Analysis. Internal quality audits& 5 ‘S’ activity.

PROFILE SNAPSHOT:

Knowledge of Quality Tools, SPC, MSA, PFMEA, APQP, 8D.

PPAP documents verification as per the requirement

Supplier up gradation for part NCR and PPAP documentation & PPAP audit at the supplier end.

Visiting supplier units & supplier monitoring as per plan.

Knowledge of Problem solving tools like 7 QC Tools.

NC reports to supplier for all incoming defects, Piece part rejections in production line, supplier communications.

Good knowledge of problem solving methodology.

Defect Analysis (usage of QC tools as applicable) and get 8D reports from suppliers.

Corrective and Preventive actions implementation verification and closing @ supplier end.

Supplier Quality performance review and follow-up for supplier actions.

Maintain Documents / records applicable to above activities, as per Quality Management system requirements.
