Title: Process Engineer
Responsibilities: Observing and documenting progress and changes in day-to-day process behaviors. Giving tours to vendors and customers of the Eastman Gelatine plant and premises. Monitoring efficiency of power plant and water treatment systems.
Updated and transferred the maintenance department's spare part tracking system from the Eastman Gelatine computer system to the Rousselot of Peabody computer system. Worked weekends to accomplish this.
Attended and participated in daily morning market meetings, to facilitate and discuss the daily interactions between the production floor, the power plant engineers, and the water treatment department.
Observed development of pharmaceutical grade gelatin intended for capsule use. Participated in discussion on how to upscale production capabilities and maintain consistent quality.

Responsibilities: Maintaining, tracking, and archiving engineering drawings and documents in an organized, secure fashion, in line with all Genzyme corporate standards and in compliance with the FDA’s GDP and GMP guidelines.
Assisted in the setup of the underlying infrastructure (in terms of space and equipment) of the Engineering Documentation department.
