Coupling my HR knowledge with my strong business acumen I provide support and guidance to the Senior leadership team at the corporate office and across all Hood Packaging sites. By using a collaborative approach and coaching I build and execute a plan to guide the organization through short term and long term strategies.

Organizational Development and Change Management

Introduced new systems to provide guidance and transparency across the Hood Packaging group.

Reviews all WCB claims and may investigate and submit appeals of questionable claims and WCB costs

Reviews salaries in cooperation with the General Manager, participates in salary and benefit surveys, propose adjustments and responds to questions concerning salaries.

Write and update job descriptions for hourly and salaried positions.

Health and Safety

Ensure there is a health and Safety program in place and that there is a strong awareness of safety and emergency measures.

Monitor attendance, workers compensation and benefit programs.

Supervises site nurse and directs consulting physician regarding issues requiring medical review.
