OPERATIONS MANAGER

Created the Masco Florida distribution network (Hub and Spoke), where one central Warehouses feeds several smaller Service Centers thru out the state. This greatly reduced the Inventory caring cost as well as Warehouse foot print for the Florida Network. This initiative translated into a 22% cost containment compared to prior network. I received the Masco Cabinetry cost saving initiative of the year as a result of the network restructure.

Responsible for profit and loss for all the Florida Warehouse and service centers, created monthly sales and expense forecast as well and creation of the rough draft yearly operating budget.

Management all the daily Operations of a Major Household Cabinet Manufacturing, Distribution, Warehousing, and Insulation company, these tasks involved but not limited to over view of Customer order entry, factory order processing, transit logistics, warehousing, final delivery, installation and final sign of from the customer.

Acted as the Customer liaison for both MASCO’s Internal and External customers and handled any internal or external customer design, or production schedule changes.

Responsibilities included management of the daily operations of the Exel Logistic Lakeland Distribution Center, Directly managed a staff of twenty two employee including two shipping supervisor.

Managed the Profit and Loss statements for the Exel Logistics Distribution Center, also responsible for the monthly forecast and revenue projections. Involved in the rough draft of the future Fiscal year Budget.

Created and revamped the delivery routes to contain cost and pass the cost saving to the customer. I was able to increase revenue by $300,000 per year by reducing route duplication and increasing equipment utilization while at the same time reducing expense to the customer.

Created systems to reduce cost and provide better services to the outlaying service areas.
