Land Tech
Assist Land men with procedures and preparation of land related reports, spreadsheets, research, well set-up, lease purchase reports, exhibit preparation, partner communication, title opinion review and ownership determination, leasing and pooling coordination, standard letter agreements, assignments, deeds, operating agreements and other land related documents.
Assist in preparation and circulation of correspondence, assignments, releases and contracts (JOA's, Unit Agreements, Letter Agreements, etc.) and forward any documents to be recorded in appropriate county clerk offices.
Review and correct data base information to insure proper reporting to other departments.
Insure that processes are in place to inform the Land men about time sensitive matters such as contract deadlines and regulatory hearing schedules.
Research complicated contract, lease, title and land owner issues and be prepared to support the land department with recommendations regarding such matters.
Perform various calculations using addition, multiplication and division requiring understanding and ease working with fractions, proportions and percentages.
Code and route land invoices for approval, prepare check requests and wire transfers.
Work with Land Systems personnel to ensure all new leases are properly mapped along with outlines of units.
Assist in analysis of all contracts and upload data in the land system.
