Job Duties: Help lead sourcing activities, Negotiate contracts, and manage all procurement of raw steel plate, structural, Pipe, and Condenser units, Pressure Vessels, and Heads. Manage over 6000 SKU#, with an Avg. 70M in annual spend. I helped oversee the development of Market Baskets and negotiations of Material price indexes, and T&C’s of long term contracts, Outlining Duration, Country of Origin, Service level requirements, Etc.

20% reduction in raw carbon steel plate costs totaling of $1M in annual spend, By Sourcing mill direct from Denmark, One country not affected by the new 2016 Anti-Dumping penalties.
48% reduction in raw carbon pipe costs totaling over $1.3M in annual spend, By sourcing direct from a Steel Pipe Mill leveraging our total spend and utilizing their ability to mix capacity to better suit our consumption.
Recently Re-negotiated all payment terms with suppliers from N45 to 2% 20days/ Net 90. Thus allowing the company to get further discounts or hold cash longer.

Job Duties: Oversight of 100 million in annual spends for steel used in the manufacturing of Crane Kits for the Jack up oil rig industry. Manage all GR/IR and PPV for over 3000 SKU #’s.
Major accomplishment- Moved Steel into a Consignment Program and Cut over $1 million in Carry cost of Inventory by identifying dead stock and re-allocating as a substitution on current work .
Completion of Cameron’s SIX SIGMA GREEN BELT PROGRAM where I completed a project to reduced Heat lot’s from the Mill yielding $500K annual savings in Production costs, also developed new international suppliers.
Negotiated a strategic partnership and Broker ship with InduSteel in France, and American Alloy Steel in USA for supply and delivery of Value added plates to the port of New Orleans Where American Alloy would then Take ownership and deliver JIT to our facility in Vicksburg MS. Thus freeing up cash flow and all liability of the shipment.

Major accomplishment: After reviewing several customer raw material specifications and negotiations with several customer metallurgists I was able to consolidate the procurement of materials by 35% by buying all Stainless grades to the highest level Specification and then leveraging that volume to access large discounts.
Took Duncan Facilities total Inventory from $1.2 Million in 2010 to $675K through my implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, and Value Stream Mapping, and consolidation efforts within MIC GROUPS Duncan OK FACILITY.
