Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey – School of Engineering New Brunswick, NJ
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a Concentration in Aerospace May 2016
ENGINEERING PROJECTS
AIAA (AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF ASTRONAUTICS AND AERONAUTICS) Oct 2014 ~ May 2016
Invented a vacuum former, which allowed the nose of the aircraft to be in a more aerodynamic shape.
Applied knowledge of aeronautic structures to construct key components of the R/C Plane such as the landing gear, the Wing, and the Tail.
Applied knowledge of Solidworks and CAD to create 3D models of key components of the plane.
Constructed the plane by using knowledge of different materials of wood adhesives.
As Jig Design Lead, delegated a group of students within the organization and assigned roles and research topics necessary to devise the best design for Jigs of the SAE Aero Design Competition plane.
Served on the RU Airborne Team in the 2015 and 2016 SAE International Aero Design East Competition by providing maintenance, testing, and presentation of the aircraft in submission.
Received training in Laser cutting, 3D printing, and CNC machine from a third party source (Rutgers Makerspace).
SAE AERO DESIGN TEAM (RU AIRBORNE)
Served on the RU Airborne Team in the 2015 and 2016 SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) International Aero Design East Competition
Provided maintenance, testing, and presentation of the aircraft during the competition
Placed 9th Place in the oral presentation of the SAE Aero Design East Competition of 2016
Placed 11th Place in the written design report of the SAE Aero Design East Competition of 2015
SENIOR DESIGN TEAM Sept 2015 ~ May 2016
Worked in a team of 6 students sponsored by Sanofi to create a small-scale model of a completely automated mechanical system
Invented a system that organizes and loads/unloads, which would reduce the overall work time and number of employees for these processes.
Constructed the system using conveyor belts, aluminum beams, linear actuators, Arduino motherboards, and electric motors and calculated the measurements of the system, such as its physical boundaries, the conveyor belts’ coefficient of friction, and weight of the conveyor belts.
Theorized and tested multiple applications to solve issues for deploying and sorting out packages
Invented the structure and overall the mechanical system of the model.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
