I have held many jobs over the years, from being a counselor at a Girl Scout camp to working as a tutor for nonprofit programs. The job that sticks out the most for me is working as an ESL Tutor. My interest in teaching ESL students began in January of 2013 when I began tutoring adult ESL students at Rock Valley College. While tutoring these students I got to create an energized learning environment that focused on the individuals understanding and taught them to express themselves more. I feel an opportunity such as this would give me the chance to gain personal growth as an educator/leader and give me the chance to see if this is really the profession I would like to continue on in life.

This was one of many experiences I will continue to share as I look forward to this new opportunity in life, and different ways of helping others. As you can see from my resume and reading my cover letter I am enthusiastic about helping others in any way I can.
