Personal Statement:
I am an enthusiastic and proactive person with a desire to succeed in what I do. I place a strong emphasis on communication and interpersonal skills and am able to work under my own initiative or as a member of a team. I possess a willingness to learn and develop in my chosen field and see problems as opportunities not obstacles.
Employment History:
Upon leaving full time education and indulging in a passion for travel I followed my father’s career and joined HM Forces taking a position in The Army. This has enabled me to pursue a number of opportunities that has led to a varied career, given me a rounded outlook on life and presented many challenges and new learning opportunities that I am able to rely on and bring to my present role.

Job Title – Warehouse Shift Manager
Throughout my time in this role I have had many challenges that have helped me to continually develop further as a manager of people and roles. It is a fast paced and dynamic environment delivering products to the UK and International regions. Primary responsibilities include:
Manage the day to day warehouse operation in a cost effective manner making alterations to the daily plans in line with changing demands.
Provide effective management of resources to maximize utilisation of space and resources including both personnel and vehicle availability to reflect demand..
Recruit, train, motivate and mentor Supervisors & Team Leaders in the warehouse in order to provide a flexible team who constantly achieve departmental KPI’s.

Be accountable for maintaining a high standard of hygiene/housekeeping in the work environment via inspections and spot check audit activities.

Primary Duties included:

Responsible for the transfer of pensions from one company to another on behalf of the client.
Whilst with HSBC I managed to achieve the position of Designated Complaint Handler, a position only given to the most competent member on each team.

Summary of role;
After basic training with the Adjutant Generals Corp I was posted to the Royal Military Police Units in Petersfield and London. Duties included working as and training bodyguards for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, creating an in-house database, updating, archiving and transferring records onto CD - ROM for the Central Criminal Records and Intelligence Office (CCRIO) plus general security duties. During my time in the Army I was able to pursue my passion for Rugby and represented the Army at Under 21 level in a number of fixtures. I was also able to undertake many outward bound courses and extra-curricular activities to underpin my personal development.
