• Internally recruited to take over the materials responsibilities for the new “High End” product line.

• Responsible for the Production Control activities of two divisions.

• Developed the groundwork for a new RMA process for field service spares.

• Responsible for insuring that the correct priorities were developed and followed for production in two facilities as well as providing material to support the Field Service group. OPERATIONS MANAGER – 04/96 to 04/00

• Managed the New Products Operations group as well as the Repair Center group that included 18 Technicians and 6 Mechanical Assemblers.

• 27 new products successfully transferred to turnkey suppliers once the products test procedures were established and the product became stable.

• Successfully assisted in the transfer of the new products manufacturing site from California to Canada, within the established goal of 6 months. This was due to the sale of the business unit.

• Headed the operations development of Tandem’s first server product line that included a $750,000 automated conveyor line.

• Internally recruited to take over the Systems Integration and Test group for the NSK product line. This product represented

~75% of Tandem’s hardware revenue.

• Prepared annual budgets for departmental labor and equipment requirements. MASTER SCHEDULING AND PRODUCTION CONTROL MANGER – 03/94 to 04/96

• Responsible for Master Scheduling, Production Control and Order Configuration groups for the UB Networks and Atalla business units.
