Introduction

My name is Neal Livingston. I am attempting to re-enter the workforce after a moderately successful run at an entrepreneurial venture begun in January of 2012. While working fulltime in a Financial Printing company, I realized that I had a great deal to offer smaller companies in the way of knowledge and experience that had they hired someone to bring them even a portion of the knowledge and experience I could deliver would be cost prohibitive. However, I was able to provide small jobs compartmentalized specifically for the client needs and sell them at around twice my salary. In December of 2011, a very large commercial printer who was struggling with the decision to stay the course or opt to a BPO solution approached me. He was looking for concrete evidence on the best option for his company. He offered me a six-month contract to do the analysis and the report at around double my salary. I made the decision to leave a directorship level job to begin SSL Consulting.

After nearly five years of success running SSL Consulting, my family is asking for more time from me to be home on the weekends and or holidays, to be more focused in our adult children’s lives and hopefully soon be a grandparent. Running the consultancy does not bode well with the family needs but employment comes a lot closer. This is why I am leaving the consulting industry and re-entering the workforce.

I am looking for an opportunity with a company who is focused on growth and wants to continue making big impact statements as they continue to grow their business. I am a senior level employee who is presently working at the executive level and has previously worked at the director level, the manager level, and the supervisory level and as a good old employee in a no-leadership role. My lifestyle, intellect or experience prohibits me from trying to enter a career at the very bottom of the ladder. My knowledge and skills are useless in the lower echelon of any organization, and why have them on board if they are not being utilized.

My expertise is in Logistics, Supply Chain, Distribution, Fulfillment, Operations, Facilities Management, Administration, Training, Policy Creation, Safety, GMP, Lean Management including Kaizen based methodologies like JIT and Kanban. My greatest gift is the ability to develop people. I have molded people who could not pack a carton on day one into exceptional high-level managers in their respective firms; many still remain in contact with me today.

I am a qualified candidate for any operational role where there is a process that must be followed and there is accountability for my work. I understand how buildings work, how facilities must be managed, how work must be done to be high quality, effective and profitable.
