Knightdale, North Carolina, Intern, 2014

• Led and completed a mechanical cable management system project for the Schneider Electric electric vehicle charging stations. Theoretical modeling and analysis of the subsystem through the application of static solid mechanics principles and FEA ensured a design for manufacturabili- ty and reliability. Completed GD&T drawings as well as CAD (SolidWorks) after tolerance design for optimal product life cycle for the subsystem prototype was considered. Hardware develop- ment was continued by completing cost-benefit analysis of integrated cable management subsys- tem. In final stages of project, completed machining for prototype using approved manufactur- ing drawings. Final report including competitive analyses and an engineering change order were presented.

Brisbane, Australia, Intern, 2013

• Assisted engineers in the assembly and high voltage testing of the newest actuator prototypes for outdoor reclosers.
