United Space Alliance, Kennedy Space Center, FL – Test Project Engineer As Communication System engineer, I was the owner of technical documentation for testing the complex telecommunications systems on board the Space Shuttle including those interfacing with the Satellite communication systems. I analyzed hardware RF systems like radar and GPS, using antenna and RF technologies; minimizing RF interference.

I lead teams to investigate failures, performed root cause analysis and resolved complex problems sometimes utilizing innovative solutions. I developed and thoroughly documented technical requirements in specifications and interface control documents as well the steps for the investigation of problems. I developed test requirements, plans, and procedures as well as evaluated and optimized those produced by third parties. I preformed requirements analysis on work completed. As a Test Project Engineer, I was responsible for compiling reports on daily testing and the progress of work as well as listing all documented problems. I presented complex testing and systems analysis to management and contributed to the complex scheduling of orbiter processing.

I also demonstrated competency in many of the engineering fields, including HVAC, Power distribution, Computer systems, Instrumentation and the Ground Control and Data systems and Ground Support Equipment.

I was considered an RF test or systems engineer and provided systems engineering support for hardware and software telemetry testing, and electronic troubleshooting on the shuttle.
