Operational management of daily Office Services and DTI staff personnel of 8 for large, Texas based legal firm with 150 Houston employees. Areas managed include Copy Center, Hospitality/Conference Center, Mail Center and Supply Inventory Center. Provides additional support for Office Service management to The Woodlands, TX Winstead office. Assists Director of Administration of Winstead by providing Monthly Metrics reports outlining supply costs, copy center data, and mail costs as well as weekly site operational data. Acts as point of contact for all third party vendors and requests services and bids from building management, office cleaning/repair companies, customized stationary companies and office supply vendors. Assists DTI Area Operations Manager by interviewing candidates for litigation support specialist positions and acting as first level of hiring process for DTI staffed, Houston based partners.
Key Accomplishments:
Implementation of “Healthy Snacking” initiative, encouraging and facilitating good health by having sophisticated, healthy option vending machines installed on site via local vendor, while minimizing costs to staff by negotiating lower costs for items than what was in place prior to transition.
Implementation of “Supply Round Up” initiative that collected, restored and recycled reusable supplies in the office, most notably 3 ring binders, and reduced supply purchasing costs by $18,000 dollars over a 7 month period.
Assumed several sets of duties beyond scope of work during an extended 6 month absence of Director of Administration including issuing of Winstead staff access/parking badges and permits, Oversight of several large onsite Winstead staff events that required complex planning, and maintaining outage reports for Winstead support staff while assisting attorneys in having proper secretarial back-up coverage.
