SKILLS / STRENGTHS

I have computer skills. I have knowledge and experience in all Microsoft Operating Systems including Windows 10. I have the ability to fix easy to moderate computer issues and work with customers. I have knowledge of Windows Software including Excel, Word. I am adaptable. In my travels I lived in Korea for 8 years. The culture and language was intimidating at first. Instead of staying with people of my own language and culture, I pushed myself to learn the language, the city, and the culture. After a few months of getting out of my comfort zone, Korea felt like home. I am creative. When I bought a small business, it was up to me to create and maintain a webpage, because the cost of having someone else do it was too much. I created a more modern and creative webpage, where a l ot of our business referrals came from.

I have a great teaching ability. I lived in Seoul, Korea, for 8 years. Primarily, my job was to teach English to both adults and children, while communicating in both Korean and English. I developed an effective teaching method that brought many students to our business, and most continued to be with us until I left. I have great organizational skills. When I managed two corporations from 2005-2008, I had to organize and schedule contractors, employees, and realtors. I was in charge of sales, and also accounting as well. At one point I had over 2 Million dollars of inventory to sell and manage. I have artistic talent. In my small shave ice business, I was in charge or re-designing the logo. Using Photoshop, I was able to create a new look for the logo, and used it for the business and for creating t-shirts as well.
