Resume:

Dear Sir,

I am writing to apply to your prestigious Firm for employment as a counsel. I am a

graduate of the Faculty of Law, Madonna University, Okija, with a Second (2 nd) Class

Honours (Upper Division) LL.B Degree Certificate obtained in 2014 and I have recently

passed my Nigerian Law School Bar Part II examinations with a Pass 3 rd Class

Honours. I have also been Called to the very prodigious Nigerian Bar on December 15,

2015.

I believe that excelling in the complex world of modern law practice entails building

from the right foundation and setting out with the right focus. This conviction has

motivated my choice of undergraduate courses particularly, Oil and Gas Law,

Commercial Law, Banking and Insurance Law, Criminology, Humanitarian Law,

Family Law, Industrial/Labour Law, Company and Partnership Law, amongst others.

My recognition of the need for versatility at this formative level also explains my

consistent efforts to develop myself in areas of litigation and client counseling.

I have also obtained useful training and work experience in leading Law Firms in

Nigeria and I have been entrusted with multiple leadership and administrative

responsibilities during my undergraduate study programme, giving me varied skills and

the ability to interact and work with many people of diverse background and a

disposition to explore solutions to both hypothetical and live problems.

Being in an environment that breeds excellence is key for me. I view your Firm as a top

legal services Firm in Africa with diverse practice models and an unabated desire to

satisfy the needs of your local and international clientele as key pointers to the fact that

being a part of your team will be pivotal in harnessing my potentials while affording me

the fertile ground to contribute very propitiously to your august Firm. As exhibited in

my Curriculum Vitae (CV), the core values of hard work, innovative thinking, prudent

management, industry and self-sacrifice are key ingredients in my personal

development. These are values which I am committed to maintain throughout my

career.

I have been posted to serve in Plateau State under the NYSC scheme and will be passing

out sometime in September, 2016.

I thank you greatly for taking the time to consider my application and eagerly

anticipate your positive response.

Yours Faithfully,

Cynthia C. Chukwuka Esq.
