Lead Diesel Technician - [May 2009 Present].

The duties that I have performed for Peterbilt are, engine diagnosis, failure analysis, trouble

shooting on emission system, engine systems, electrical system. I am Cummins certified ISX 15

CM 871, 872, 2250, 2350, ISB, ISC and ISL certified and have done in-frame and out of frame

engine rebuilds as well. I have the ability to diagnose and trouble shoot electronic components in

dash such as, gages, switches air leaks, and in dash computer diagnosis. I have experience with

ABS and stability control systems and ATC systems as well. I have worked alongside engineers to

aid in difficult repairs as well as helping co workers diagnose and repair issues out on the floor. I

also can diagnose and repair electrical issues such as ECM recalibration configuring,

programming and ECM replacement. I have the ability to multi task on several jobs and help

people with other issues as well.

The duties I performed were electronic troubleshooting, engine repair and failure analysis on all

Caterpillar engine models. I gained experience using Caterpillar SIS web as well as CAT

Electronic Technician. I preformed drive train repairs on trucks such as clutch u-joint replacement,

differential repair, air system diagnosis on heavy and light duty applications. I performed work on

3512 and 3516 Caterpillar engines in power generation application. I performed engine in-frame

and out of frame engine overhauls on all CAT engine types and various truck applications. I also

performed programming engine ECM transferring data to one ECM to another and configuring

engine parameters.
