Wellcare provides Medicare & Medicaid managed care. This project is for revenue tally on day to day basis and end of month summation. The key challenge of this project is to monitor all the jobs and fix any issues as per the SLA’s. Code enhancements are done very often to fix the current issues.

This project is to implement data governance activities in the existing BASEL II implementation of American Express Data warehouse. The key challenge of this project is modifying the existing mappings in production without affecting the current flow of business. I was leading for the Individual Portfolio which contains data of individual credit card records from eight different sources.

Roles and Responsibilities

•I am handling offshore of 5 members across multiple vendors of Infosys, IBM and CTS.

•Interacting with client for Requirement Gathering and Requirement Analysis.

•Designing the architecture for the new DG implementation with optimal performance in existing production code.

•Creating the data mapping for eight different source systems across the global to the final target data warehouse.

•Creating informatica mappings and workflows for the requirements which are common to all portfolios across AMEX.

This project is to automate the process of extracting the details of members under Wellpoint Insurance who have migrated to a particular region from various legacy systems. The complexity of the project resided in the complete automation without any manual interference. It required to use VBA macros for param file generation, unix, bteq and fast export scripts for the extract generation.

•The entire project was single handled by me at offshore.

This project was a result of the accumulation of Pharmacy benefit management business from WellPoint by Express Scripts Inc. (ESI). All pharmacy data from different source systems will be sourced into a centralized DW residing in DB2 by ESI. This in turn will be selectively extracted, related, transformed and loaded into EDW residing in Teradata using Teradata BTEQ scripts. In this I was CLAIMS subject area.

•Developed BTEQ scripts to Extract, Transform and Load the data.

•Prepared handover documents and gave a transition to the maintenance team on the entire CLAIMS subject area.
