Operations Manager – Maintenance
Operations HQ - Resource Recycling Technologies, Inc. – Vestal, NY
Managed and coordinated all maintenance activities at twenty-five post-consumer recycling facilities from New York to Florida, while instituting the installation of a newly acquired Computerized Maintenance Management System. Provided on site due diligence at facilities under consideration for acquisition by the company. Championed an Operations Technical Liaison program for feedback to the company’s Design & Construction Division.

Contract Performance Manager
General Electric Company – Infrastructure Division - Atlanta, GA
Acted as the sole on-site General Electric representative for executing the performance of a multi-million dollar long-term service agreement at the Duke Energy Combined Cycle Co-Generation Power facility in Hanging Rock, Ohio. Spearheaded a total plant maintenance shutdown for routine scheduled service and overhaul of three GE Gas Turbine-Generator sets and a GE Steam Turbine-Generator.

Chittenden County, Solid Waste District – Bio-solids Processing Facility – S. Burlington, VT
Spearheaded the start-up operations for a newly constructed, multimillion dollar, wood burning Bio-solids Processing facility. Responsibilities included hiring and training staff, researching vendors, negotiating prices for output and supplies, and scheduling deliveries. Troubleshot and developed solution for excessive dust issue of product quality.
Maintenance Manager
GE Power Systems – Chai yi Power Generation Facility – Chai yi, Taiwan, R.O.C.
Led the maintenance department during start-up operations at a newly constructed, gas turbine cogeneration electrical power production facility. Responsibilities included hiring 15 local Maintenance Technicians in 4 trades.
Also acted as GE’s on-site Service Contract Performance Manager.

Directed a plant shutdown, including all planning and scheduling of maintenance operations, gathering information necessary for the purchase of $100,000 worth of materials. Co-developed and conducted a series of training programs for maintenance personnel encompassing the use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System. Revised and reissued the appropriate training manuals. Directed a team of employees loading equipment, spare parts, and preventative maintenance information into the CMM system.

Supervised Maintenance Department including two Supervisors, two Planners and forty-five Craftsmen in eight trades, in a unionized environment. Responsible for Boiler Room Operations management and mill-wide predictive maintenance programs. Converted chill roll cooling loops on two coating extruders from PVC to stainless pipe, utilizing contract labor. Realized $11,700 in savings upgrading hydraulic units on a 1940’s vintage embossing unit.
Mechanical Engineer

System Administrator of the facility’s Computerized Maintenance Management System. Responsibilities included training users, developing procedures, managing system security, and serving as liaison to other departments (Production, Accounting, Quality, etc.).
