Work Experience Gaps
August 13, 2004 – October 31, 2004
I had a car accident of August 12, 2003, and I was in the ETMC ICU until November 2003 then transferred to Houston therapy rehab center until I was released for surgery July 01, 2004. I had surgery on July 17, 2004.
I re-applied for my job and re-interviewed in October.
April 01, 2006 – August 22, 2010
I was on retirement from the WIC office and receiving disability. After my car accident, I had several health issues that I was still dealing with while I was re-employed at WIC. After retirement, I mainly focused on physical therapy, so I could get out of my wheelchair and walk again. I also had other health issues that needed to be taken care of. I had several surgeries during this time: July 2006, June 2007, December 2008, and June 2009.
At the end of this point, I felt I was healthy enough to move forward. I was no longer in a wheelchair and continually losing weight, so I could remain healthy.
