The principal objective of the Project is to create geo-referenced database for selected villages to demonstrate the advantages of spatial technologies in local level planning, disaster management, watershed development, ground water technologies etc. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assists in keeping an accurate inventory of software and hardware and documentation creation as necessary.

Assists with the preparation of monthly and ad hoc reports on the activities of information technology department.

Oversee the work, actions and performance of all public works employees.

Oversee engineering projects in the Village.

Perform capital improvement of all public works construction projects in the Village and oversee all phases of construction.

Respond to customer service requests and concerns/questions related to the public works department.

Review costs and quality in the department, and modify programs as needed and directed by the Village Administrator.

Serve as the contact person for consulting engineers regarding public works projects in the Village.

Provide long range planning related to the Village's Public Works.

Provide oversight for the day-to-day activities of the Public Works Department.

Prepare and monitor the water utility, sewer utility, storm water utility and general public works department budgets.
