As a part of my major, I am able to identify the properties of future product materials, which materials are best suited for a particular product, and identify stresses/strains on the axial level. I am also able to identify and solve problems related to product design and/or manufacturing defects. In addition, I bring a hands-on approach to repairing many mechanical systems, including automobiles, which makes me highly valuable to the engineering industry.

I worked as an Associate Engineer, aiding production operations to achieve optimal quality and safety rates. I worked closely with Design to implement ECO changes, New Product Development and create excellent customer relations. I worked closely with Quality Engineers to assure customers products were to their expectations.

I worked as an intern, aiding the current engineers in projects that solve current plant issues in manufacturing and assembling. Most of the projects were designed in Solid Works and included a welding booth, several carts/racks for tooling and die sets, improvements for machines and product lines. I designed plant layouts on CAD, was involved in Kaizen events (continuous improvement), and even quality inspections with various paint specifications on products.

Volunteer Experience
