Objective: Provide service with value and positive customer satisfaction ensuring repeat business and growth; practiced with ethics and integrity.

Professional Summary: (for details): http://www.alinq.us/Docs/Skillset.docx

Technology Turnaround expert with over 20 years of IT experience, helping companies sustain and succeed. My philosophy is Simplification and Standardization; using Lean and Six-Sigma tools. A Business should not be intimidated by technical jargon, and expect IT to follow the business model; that is how I ensure IT organization becomes a strategic partner and not just an enabler. However, that implies a good understanding of Core business, Industry but most importantly Business focus. Running a Lean-mean shop with highly flexible resource pool and immensely scalable infrastructure is how I help the business grow, and together with technology partnerships is how we beat competition.

I use Modernization to simplify processes, and further improve standards by implementing SLAs and documented best practices. I have helped an organization to grow from a $9.8 billion to $22 Billion sales company, worked with fortune 500 companies -- sizable companies turning about $1.4 Trillion per annum, managed thousands of applications, databases of size over 60 TB and extremely tight SLAs. Also turned-around technology organizations with years of neglect and almost total disconnect with business; similarly -- allowed business to recognize valuable processes after trimming down volumes of time, resource and money pits. Helped corporations with Margin Management, Penetrating White Spaces etc., and led many of these projects with narrow deadlines to provide competitive edge. I lead by example and institute mentorship programs to develop employee skillsets, thereby meeting their personal objectives and organizational goals; thereby benefitting organization by large. I take care of customers by caring for employees, building their morale with family values and helping business with solid resilient infrastructure.

My Technical success has been due to focus and support on key business functions as well as going that extra mile for my customers. I believe in helping out customers by providing solutions suitable to the framework at hand, technical mentoring and owning the risk.

Consolidate/re-negotiate Licenses/Contracts to save costs and update skillsets.

Problem reduction techniques to buy back time and resource for planned activities.

Performance Tuning using oracle or third party tools and scripts, advice best practices.

Performance monitoring and alerts using AWR, OEM, Grid control, Precise I3 etc.

Experience with Oracle 7 through 12c, and PeopleSoft up to version 9.1, tools 8.53

Application areas such as E-commerce, EDI, Data-warehousing, HR, Sales and Marketing, Financial, Distribution, Fluid storage, Customer Relation, Contract Management, Invoicing & accounts, Several types of reporting, decision support systems, Executive dashboards and many other areas of vital to marginal business value.
