Heavy Engineering company supplying High Pressure Boilers, Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Heavy Duty Gear boxes, Sugar, Cement & Mineral processing equipments.

Special Product Division is one of the division which deals with High Tech. Projects related to SPACE, NUCLEAR, DEFENCE applications. Our regular clients include ISRO, VSSC, HAL, DRDL, BDL, BARC, NPCIL, BHAVINI, ATVP, R&DE and other Premier Organizations.

JOB PROFILE :

Presently having responsibility of all QA activities of the jobs in Special Product Division (Defence Business Group).

Familiar with all the ASME sections required for fabrication of pressure vessels & boilers

Preparation of Quality Assurance Plans & Procedures in line with project specification / project quality requirements & obtain approval from customer / inspection agencies.

Preparation, issue & updating of detailed inspection procedures, checklists in prescribed formats for recording inspection data at stages of processing. Maintaining the inspection records & process control checklists.

Planning and assessing requirement of special measuring instruments and gauges, assisting tool engineering in designing special instruments, gauges and fixtures.

New vendor qualification and development for sub contracting items. Requalification of regular vendors / suppliers. Technical support for better quality and economy to vendors.

Inspection of incoming materials to check proper certification to ensure product identification and traceability.

Preparation of testing procedures for Load test, Hydro test etc.

Decision making for inspected material, components, sub assemblies, assemblies for acceptance / rework / rejection.

Analysis of rejection, rework, and deviation reports etc. for reporting to management about quality performance in various areas & recommendation for corrective and preventive action.

Maintaining the inspection records and process control checklists.

Preparation of non-conformance reports and design concession request and provide necessary feedback to authorized inspection agencies.

Interacting with third parties such as NPCIL, VSSC, R&DE, BARC etc for inspection and implementing quality activities on the shop floor.

Providing guidance to subordinates / engineers to achieve the task in time as per Quality requirements for profitable growth of Organization.

Coordination with Marketing, Purchase, Design, Projects, Welding Engineering, Production etc. in trouble shooting activities in respect of shop and site quality problems arising out of rejection, rework, deviations, site complaints etc.

Oversees inspection of raw materials @ Sweden, Italy and France.

Presently handling the critical projects for NPCIL, BHAVINI, DRDO & ATVP (DEFENCE)

Overall knowledge and implementation of GD & T.

Working as an Internal Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 140001, OHSAS 18001
