Added $1.1M to the bottom line by negotiating favorable purchasing terms with local suppliers/ traders and swapping geographical inventories to reduce logistics costs. Signed long term agreements with Ocean carriers, distribution warehouses, trucking companies and 3PL providers.

Accepted senior management challenge to take on above critical role. Oversaw sales and marketing of parent company’s Peruvian Zinc production in US. Procured $35M worth of raw materials annually for Zinc oxide plants. Restructured sales territories for optimal performance and results.

Reduced 2009 raw material cost 18% by implementing new Supply Chain guidelines, leading raw material negotiations in North America and implementing win-win strategies with all suppliers. Leveraged relationship with steel companies and purchased, for the first time ever, 100% of their top-dross generation.
