Solutions Architect, GDC Team (February 2016 – Present) As an Architect for Cisco Global Delivery Center – Data Center group. I participate in different activities focused in data center solutions likewise: design, audits/assessments, migration plans and execution, and solution implementations. I am the lead of four NCE engineers team.

–Senior Consultant NCE-V Data Center, GDC Team (December 2009 – February 2016) As a SME for Data Center solutions, participates in different activities focused in data center likewise: design, audits/assessments, migration plans and execution, and solution implementations over technologies like Cisco Servers and Storage Area Networks (SAN). Working with different enterprise customers around the world.

Main Achievements at Cisco Systems

• The only SAN Storage CCIE engineer in Cisco s GDC team and over Latam region and evaluated twice with outstanding grade in the internal Cisco performance.

• After BBVA Bank had not satisfactory Cisco Optimization service experience not willing to renew the contract, Ricardo become the principal consultant and deliver qualified results on time and built a trust relationship based on results. This result, in replace the Cisco competency completely on the bank, renewing the optimization service for three consecutive years and acquiring an on-site SAN engineer for the coming 2015 year. In BBVA Mexico after support the sales team technically and shows the value and expertise customer chooses Cisco for their existent and new sites.

• I was the only GDC SAN engineer in succeed the Cisco’s AS SAN delivery-design training process and become the only GDC group engineer involved in US SAN projects.

• SAN Health Check tool – This tool automatized the SAN health analysis and reduce in 50% the time that engineers spend in the SAN switches health analysis. Hitachi Data Systems

• Lead a talented team of six presales engineers. Defined individual development plans, which aligned with the business needs and ensured the appropriate level of skills of each engineer.
