As a highly motivated career banker, I have over 28 years of service in the retail, corporate and commercial banking sectors within medium and large sized financial institutions. Experienced in Business Development, Credit Underwriting and Relationship Manager roles, I am looking to secure a new position due to redundancy, where I can bring immediate and strategic value and develop my current skillset further.

Dunfermline Building Society (in building society special administration)

Responsible for a portfolio of over 60 connections with a view of seeking full facility repayment or best return for the Society through refinance of debt, asset disposal or customer repayment.

Responsible for the implementation of an asset disposal programme off over 680 residential and commercial properties throughout Scotland leading to debt recovery of over £48m.

Negotiated with clients to seek amicable repayment / facility restructure programme, with control and sale of assets sought by legal means if deemed necessary. Resulted in a further £15m of debt recovery.

Maintained close contact with Insolvency Practitioners and other third party partners to ensure required legal, insolvency and sequestration actions are addressed timeously, and recovery actions were progressed.

Attended regular meetings with the Special Administrators of the Society to discuss / recommend / agree ongoing strategies for portfolio connections to ensure best return on facility repayment possible.

Responsible for the monitoring of received client complaints to ensure appropriate responses provided timeously in line with FSA and Banking Ombudsman guidelines

Dunfermline Building Society (in building society special administration)

Provided support to the Corporate, High Risk and Special Administrator teams in respect of assessment of recovery and connection management proposals and strategies.

Specific responsibility for the assessment of credit submissions, providing recommendations for amongst others facility restructuring and extensions, offers of facility repayment, security releases, Enterprise Zone deposit releases and consents to lease requests.
