Having worked in the accounts department and administration for over 9 years now, I feel that I have adequate capacity, appropriate skills, and the required knowledge and competencies to manage the portfolio I am currently applying for. I have PAEC Technician Diploma, LCCI Levels 1-3 Certificates in Accounting and studying towards ICAM - ICAEW professional level.
I have vast experience in working as an Assistant Accountant and Regional Administrator for Malawi Institute of Journalism (MIJ) and Blantyre City Assembly.
I describe myself as a hardworking, self-motivated and results oriented person, with most of my responsibilities involving managing multiple accounting and administrative tasks simultaneously and to report on their progress at a moment’s notice, in a challenging environment. I also developed good interpersonal skills through my interaction with people of multicultural backgrounds at different levels when organizing different office activities. I am able to work at odd hours, meeting strict deadlines while paying attention to detail. I also hold a strong capacity to write analytical financial and administrative reports based on programme outcomes.
