SUMMARY
After completion of my apprenticeship I gained experience in the Petro Chemical Installation, Off - Shore Modular Construction, Pipe Fabrication & Construction Fabrication.
After Ten years experience progressing from a hands on basis to a charge hand and then Foreman, I was offered the position of Quality assurance Manager with Eastern Engineering in August 1992. Which I accepted I have completed Major Projects for Lindsey Oil Refinery, Conoco, A.M.E.C (A.D.A.M), Simon Storage, Courtaulds and Hydro Fertilisers, Foster Wheeler / Texaco which involved all aspects of control of a workshop these duties involved an accurate weekly status report Materials control NDE requests TQ Log and all correspondence with the client.
Working on the Esso Distribution sites as a Resident Engineer responsible for all Permitry controls including gas testing and tank entry, formulating and reviewing Safety method statements, holding weekly safety progress meetings.
I have gained considerable experience and have encountered new and exciting challenges since progressing to Project Manager. Developing Programs, Working to the CONDAM Reg’s, liasing with the HSE, procurement and competitive purchasing.
