While studying abroad in London for a summer term English course, I worked for 3 months at Legends Gym in Daltons and Haringey. I ensured good communication between international customers and staff, maintained office and gym equipment, addressed & resolved members’ concerns, and utilized Microsoft Office software to manage member services & payment schedules.

2010 Desk Employee for the MIBAC (Italian Culture Ministry) “XII Cultural Week” – Naples, Italy.

Completed a comprehensive Internship at the MIBAC (The Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Activities, and Tourism), where I served as a liaison required to listen to citizens and review all internal communication processes in order to check the quality of services and the satisfaction of the intended users. Additionally, I ensured the exchange of information between the public relations offices and other organizations.

During this year long internship, I primarily served as the medical office’s front desk receptionist, responsible for performing a wide range of duties including: greeting, scheduling patients and visitors, bookkeeping, sending out patient appointment reminders, bill processing, answering and routing calls, entering account transactions, and organizing all paperwork.

2010 - 2015 Obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistic Mediation for Translation and Interpretation (Italian to English & Spanish) at the Scuola Universitaria per Mediatori Linguistici - SSML MADDALONI in Caserta, Italy

For my thesis I translated a research paper published in 2006 by Dr. Barbara Lafford, “The Effects of Study Abroad vs. Classroom Contexts on Spanish SLA: Old Assumptions, New Insights and Future Research Directions” from English into Italian.
