I have (2.4 years) experience on rig site in Oil & Gas Industry, onshore (Jaisalmer Basin) as a Mud logger (Tr. Geologist). Experience in supervise and observe operation in Exploratory, Development and appraisal wells (vertical drilling) as well as witnessing open hole logging, fracking operation, Coring, FIT, LOT, DST and Reservoir testing. TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

Working in well-site unit, collecting, washing, sieving, and drying followed by packing and labeling processing and logging geological samples & core samples then under tacking detail analysis.

Witnessing Coring operation and core collection.

Identification and evaluation of caving.

Selecting proper casing point.

Evaluating detailed and complex data for sign of oil and gas using various laboratory techniques such as ultraviolet, fluorescence and thin section analysis, etc.

Monitoring Gas and Hydrocarbons through Data log server and gas Chromatograph.

Monitoring computer recording of drilling parameter such as hole depth, standpipe pressure, RPM, SPM, WOB, ROP, hook load, hook position, lag depth etc .

Monitoring computer recording of Mud parameters (Mud volume, mud weight, Mud Temp, Mud Condition.etc) Monitoring of hole filling parameters during all trips.

Operating and maintain a real-time computer-based data acquisition system that record all aspects of the rig activity.

Supervising and analyzing formation test data.

Maintaining proper well records, plots and scientific documents.

Preparing all type of well reports.

Preparation of drill Pipe Tally, casing pipe tally, Tubing tally etc.

Calibration and maintenance of major rig sensors and gas panel.

Correlation of the well data to the adjoining areas.

Reporting back to the well-site geologist and to the oil company in written report such as DPR, final well reports, master log, mud log, etc.

Assisting the senior Geoscientist in communication and Co-ordination of approval processes within the organization.

Prime responsibility is process monitoring, verification of all the process parameters within specification without any loss to facilities.

Lab Experience:

Use basic laboratory equipment to sample geologic material.

Use optical microscope work, compilation & integration of data obtained from various analytical techniques.

Duties:

Describe sample cutting and preparing Master Log.

Data communication and data management.

Communicate with base (VP-Drilling Operations) and brief about the operation in progress and next operations to be carried out.

Work in co-operation with the drilling supervisor.

Send geological reports to Head Office giving details of the drilling activities, lithologies encountered, assignment of stratigraphic tops, cutting description, hydrocarbon shows, gas analysis, correlations etc.
