Process Modeling Engineer

Simulated steady state and dynamic models using Omegaland Visual Modeler.

Developed Operator Training Simulator for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, India.

Used simulation tool for process and control optimization, safety evaluation, design validation, duty specifications, alteration between operating conditions, and start up/shut down conditions.

Modeled dynamic process equipments such as compressors, heat exchangers, pumps, distillation columns, absorbers and integrated the process model with DCS (Yokogawa Centum VP).

Tuned controllers of the dynamic models to obtain accurate results as per the heat and mass balance.

Reviewed vendor documents and worked on Process Flow Diagrams and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, equipment and instrument details and layouts as per specifications and used data reconciliation tool.

Developed the HMI graphics and integrated it with the process model.

Process Solutions Engineer

Commissioned Yokogawa Process solution package- Exaquantum/PIMS (Process Historian), OPC, and linked them to other third party systems like DCS/APC etc.

Upgraded Exaquantum R2.5 to R2.7 and connected RTIMS with other third party software like APC at YANSAB, Saudi Arabia.

Installed Vnet, deployed OS and configured RAID at Petrorabigh, Saudi Arabia.

Configured Exaquantum web server and deployed web graphics.

Developed HMI graphics for Exaquantum including tag generation and tag mapping, and conducted Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test and trained client on using the software at Ibn Rushd, Saudi Arabia.

Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation Ltd. (June 2012- June 2014)

Production Engineer

Production: 2 years of production experience in Sulfuric Acid (600 MT/day), Phosphoric Acid (350 MT/day) and Steam Turbo Generator (6 MW).

Produced the final product by the optimum utilization of resources (raw material and energy).

Managed manpower up to 10-15 to achieve the target.

Handled, monitored and maintained various equipment used in process industries such as distillation column, absorption tower, heat exchanger, compressor, pumps, blowers, ball mill, etc.

Responsible for shutdown maintenance job planning and inspection of vessel, supervising process modification.

Maintained Product Recipe and Standard Operating Procedure.

Handled plant operation through DCS-Emersion Delta V and PLC-Toyo Denki.
