Kindly accept my application for a position in your organization. I bring to you a professional who has more than five years of management experience in the field of Warehouse Logistics Management. With twenty six years of manufacturing experience I have been exposed to all facets of the manufacturing cycle from inbound logistics to outbound logistics.

I have gained all my work experience in a unionized environment at ArcelorMittal Point Lisas Ltd. I worked in the Quality Control Department as both Junior and Senior Technician for twenty years understanding and assuring the steel production quality processes. During this time I worked with ISO Standards and understand the need to produce a conforming product through Standard Operational Procedures.

I was then promoted to the position of Production Planning Assistant in the Production Planning Department where I assisted the planner in the production plan for the production of both steel billets and wire rod coils for the company. This included the shipping of steel plan as well.

After about one year I was elevated to the position of Assistant Technical Manager in the Production Planning Department. I worked as an Assistant Technical Manager for five years until March 2016 during which time I had overall responsibility for than twenty employees in both the Billet Yard and Coil Yard Warehouses. I held responsibility for the Logistics functions of both these warehouse and their functions in the production and sale of steel billets and coils.

I am a professional who understands business, accounting and finance because I hold a Masters of Business Administration in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the Australian Institute of Business. I am also an Affiliate of the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and securing as well a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University. I have also completed a one year Certificate in Financial Management from the University of the West Indies Open Campus Program.

I have developed skills in MS Office Suite such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint. I have had training in SAP Enterprise Resource Planning software as well as working knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). During my time at AMPL I have been trained and taught how to train in numerous aspects of Occupational, Safety, Health and the Environment and also in conducting accidents and incidents investigations. I have also participated in a Supervisory Workshop Program as well.
